【例文】

Ted’s business was good until last year but it seems that he can’t help closing some branches this year.  He spread himself  too thin.

テッドのビジネスは昨年までうまくいってたけど今年はいくつか支店を閉めざるえないようだ。あれもこれも手を広げすぎたんじゃない。
