【意味】

（諺）落し物は拾い得（、落しものは泣きを見）。

【例文】

I found 20,000 yen on the way to my place and went to the police station to report it.  The police officer said that the money will become mine after 6 months unless someone reports it.  Finders keepers, losers weepers.

家に帰る途中で20,000円見つけたので警察に届けんだ。そうしたら警官が”誰かが届けない限り6か月後にはあなたのものになります。”と言っていた。落し物は拾い得（、落しものは泣きを見）。
